Corporate Resources Coordinator

£28k + 28 days holiday + stats

15-month maternity contract to start mid/end August 2024

Hybrid – 4 days at home 1 day in the office based centrally in Wakefield.

9am – 5.30pm

Having worked with this client for the last 15 years they are looking to recruit a strong administrator to cover a maternity leave which is due to begin mid/late August and will continue until October/November 2025.

This is a varied, dynamic role providing support to the Director and supporting the Executive team and colleagues more widely as required – principally in the areas of digital resources, facilities management and HR administration.

Principal Responsibilities

Facilities:

  • Assist with the set-up of physical resources to support staff working arrangements and be a key point of contact on such matters (e.g. laptops, phones, IT peripherals).
  • Assist with management of office accommodation and other facilities.
  • Plan organisation-related exercises and events where required.
  • Assist with office utilities and other related administration.
  • Undertake additional tasks required to support the activity and success of the Solace group.
  • Provides an effective, confidential administrative service as necessary in support of the efficient working of the Executive team and organisation.
  • Provide support to the Director on Company Secretary duties as necessary including the Board of Directors meetings.
  • Format presentations, reports, tenders and general correspondence for commercial activity as required.
  • Establish and maintain electronic and paper-based filing systems to support the effective performance of the Executive team and the organisation, utilising the established CRM as the principal database where appropriate.
  • Assist with the upkeep of correct data on Salesforce through basic ticket resolution.
  • Organise meetings, prepare and circulate agendas and papers and record meeting minutes.
  • Work flexibly in support of the operations of the organisation.
  • Gain understanding of all aspects of the organisation to be able to accurately prioritise workload and work on own initiative.
  • Devise and implement new initiatives to enhance and improve the effectiveness and delivery of services that support achievement of corporate objectives.
  • Encourage a culture of communication, trust and team working across the organisation.
  • Undertake other roles and responsibilities as directed, to ensure that the business and operational priorities of the organisation are at all times effectively delivered.
  • Assist with management and implementation of Health & Safety requirements and related activity.

Administrative support:

HR Administration:

  • Assist the director in the provision of a confidential and efficient HR service that supports delivery of organisation objectives and targets.
  • Develop and maintain efficient electronic HR systems that effectively support delivery of the role priorities and an effective HR function, including use of the CRM where appropriate
  • Coordinate engagement and induction processes for all new employees, liaising with all relevant colleagues as necessary.
  • Source and arrange individual and organisation – wide training courses
  • Coordinate the management and implementation of Health and Safety requirements and related activity.

The person

  • You’ll be able to demonstrate strong administrative skills, supporting a team.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have strong IT skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
